Hi everyone!
As female rugby league players, we are passionate about both playing and growing the sport.
There are currently only 19 countries across the world which have women participating in rugby league regularly, so not only do we want to increase it in our region and nationally, we would like to see a global increase.
The French Footy Tour involves us, as a barbarian Toowoomba team, to play both local and first division French teams. Not only will this grow our skills and experience but also that of local players in France.
The first division team may be a different story! But we’ll give it a crack.
As much as we don’t want to take away from any other charities or organisations, we are asking for any amount you could spare to help us get over there, and to help us encourage Women’s Rugby League.
