The Deakin University Cricket Club, trading as Waurn Ponds Deakin, is a community organisation with three senior men’s teams and a growing junior program.

We are affiliated with the Geelong Cricket Association and are celebrating our 30th birthday in 2019/2020.

To mark this milestone, we have been busy investing in our playing and training facilities to secure the club’s future for many years to come.

As part of this approach, we have renovated our turf playing pitch square and training pitches and thanks to generous support, recently replaced our old and worn out turf roller.

Our next project involves upgrading safety netting for our training facility. This involves installation of retractable nylon nets to separate the turf practice pitches from the synthetic practice pitches to minimize the risk of balls flying out of the nets and striking participants.

Through the club's fundraising partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, donations to the WPDCC Eagles Foundation and its various development initiatives and projects are tax deductible. So please show your support by donating today!
