Support Our Military and Emergency Services Veterans: Help Us Buy a Dive Boat!

The Wanderers Dive Club was established in Perth in 2022 and has quickly grown to over 150 members. We provide dive training and social dive activities to the military and emergency service veterans, serving members and their families. Most of our dive activities are shore dives around Perth, occasional boat dives are conducted with established dive facilities, unfortunately at this time they are at the expense of the members. Our charity has been unsuccessful with our grant applications in order to be able to provide more engaging and meaningful activities for our members.

Because of this situation, we have decided to raise funds ourselves to purchase a dedicated dive boat for the club. For this venture we need your support! Scuba diving has proven to be an invaluable therapeutic tool for military and emergency services veterans, offering not only a physical workout but also vital mental health benefits. With each dive, veterans experience a sense of peace and connection with nature, which helps reduce stress, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms. The calming underwater environment fosters mindfulness and focus, enabling participants to reconnect with themselves, their peers and their families.
