Here at the Yarra Junction Junior Football Club, we are committed to providing our players and their families with a supportive and inclusive environment. We aim to create a space that allows the children to grow and build confidence on and off the field. We strongly believe that when team sporting environments are run correctly they can be places of utmost value to young people. It is through sporting clubs that children learn the importance of working together, they begin to understand that teamwork and support is given and received and that if we build each other up we are all better off for it. Junior Sporting Clubs can also play an integral role in building confidence in young people, which they can then carry on throughout their lives. Team sports encourage children to develop leadership skills, build friendships, develop teamwork and communication skills and promote physical activity.

At YJJFC we would love to provide our players with the best possible opportunities to succeed on and off the field, through quality facilities, coaches, environments and equipment. As a small club, in a low socio-economic area, this will only be possible through targeted grants, funding opportunities and our small but wonderful sponsors.
