Support My Journey to the Women's World Floorball Championships!

About the Cause:

Hello everyone! My name is Yasmin, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to represent Australia at the Women's World Floorball Championships, which will be held from December 2nd to 10th 2023. I have been lucky enough to represent Australia on the world stage 6 time and I have dedicated countless hours of practice and training to reach this level of competition, and I am determined to make our nation proud on the international stage. However, I need your support to make this dream a reality.

Why I Need Your Help:

Participating in the Women's World Floorball Championships is an incredible honor, but it comes with significant financial challenges. As a full-time student, my budget is already stretched to its limit, and the entire cost of the trip, which exceeds $6000, is entirely out of pocket for me.

Where Will the Funds Go:

Your generous contributions will be used to cover various essential expenses related to the tournament. These include:

  1. Compulsory Uniform: Each player is required to wear the official team uniform during the championship, and this cost is an integral part of our participation.
  2. Accommodation ($1800+): The tournament takes place over several days, and we need a safe and comfortable place to stay during the competition. This includes the cost of accommodation for a 2 week intense training camp.
  3. Covering Some Costs of Management: In addition to player expenses, there are management and administrative costs that need to be addressed to ensure a smooth and successful tournament experience.

Your Impact:

By supporting this fundraiser, you will be directly contributing to our nation's representation at an international sporting event. Your contribution will help alleviate the financial burden on a dedicated student-athlete, allowing me to focus on my performance and bring my best to the team. Your belief in me and our team means the world, and I am incredibly grateful for any amount you can spare.

Other Ways You Can Help:

I understand that not everyone can contribute financially, but there are other ways you can support our journey. Please help us spread the word about this fundraiser by sharing it with your friends, family, and on social media. Every little bit of exposure helps us reach a wider audience and increases the chances of reaching our goal.

Thank You:

Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey to the Women's World Floorball Championships. Your support means more than words can express, and I am truly grateful for every contribution made to this cause. Together, we can showcase the talent and determination of our nation's athletes on the global stage. Let's make this dream a reality!
