Young Dressage Association Inc aims to encourage the next generation of dressage enthusiasts by supporting their goals, education and advancement through the newly developed Young Rider Development Squad. The official launch of this program is at the first development weekend 15-16 July.

YDA YR Squad Membership is free to all current financial YDA Young Rider Members under the age of 21 years.

Benefits of being on the YDA YR Development Squad:

·    Scholarship opportunities (funding provided by the club to attend state and national competitions)

We also hope to in the future offer access to discounted Equestrian Australia Introduction to Riding and Horse Management workbooks (children & parents encouraged to take part) supported by online learning workshops. However, these cost money!

Funding will help us to offer these Equestrian Australia educational resources ($110 for 2 x books for approx 50 members = $5500) for young riders (& their parents) to learn more about horse management, welfare, and riding: https://www.equestrian.org.au/coaching/getting-started plus cover the costs of paying for a coach educator to run online workshops quarterly ($330/session x 4 = $1320 for 1 year) which will support the learning pathway and completion of these books.
