Hi. My name is Zach Sasidharan.

This year I have been selected to represent Western Australia in the Under 12 Interstate Golf competition to be held in Wollongong, NSW from 10th to 14th November 2024.

I am honoured to be part of a team of 8 boys and 4 girls who will be travelling to NSW to compete against the best U12 golfers from around the nation. It is indeed an exciting time as this is the first time I am representing WA and travelling interstate for a golf competition. I am sure it will be a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I do hope to make my family, you and WA proud.

The estimated cost of the trip is about $3,000 for each of us. This includes the flights, local travel to Wollongong, travel between the golf courses, accomodation, food, our attire and bringing my dad along as my caddy! The grants available and joint fundraising efforts by my golf club (Gosnells Golf Club) should raise about $500 for me. My target is to raise at least $3,000 which the total would then cover my trip. Any funds not used, will go back to my ongoing training and I am intending to donate a portion of unused funds back to junior golf programs such as the Australian Golf Foundation.
