SnowSports ACT were granted $6000 through Giving4Grassroots for the purchase of equipment for their “Little Shredders” School Program.

The program brings the basics of snow sports to primary schools. Kids will learn lots of new skills like agility, balance and snow safety. The program utilises custom-made modified equipment built specifically for use in the school yard and can be hired by SnowSports ACT free of charge to schools.

SnowSports ACT have seven schools booked in for the “Little Shredders” program which begins in term two and three of 2017, with the program hoping to increase interest in snow sports and encourage them to go to the snow and use the skills they learn.
