What originally began with a drive to be faster than my three older brothers, quickly turned into my passion and an Olympic dream. Since I was 10 and I first set foot on a snowboard, I knew I could become an Olympian and that I could be one of the best Alpine Snowboarders in the world.

I’ve been asked by friends why bother? Told by athletes it was too hard to be good at snowsports when you come from Australia. And I’ve been told by coaches I wouldn’t ever be successful outside of Australia. Well now I’ve proved them all wrong. And I will make it my mission to continue proving everyone wrong!

I’m not only on this journey for myself but also to prove to others that you don’t have to be most talented kid on the slopes, or the most creative in the classroom. But, you can be the most passionate. And when you’re passionate you can achieve anything, even that Olympic dream!
