Help a Young Gymnast Represent Australia on the World Stage

A Dream Within Reach — But Not Without You - Be Part of Olivia’s Journey

Olivia Meaney is a 14-year-old gymnast from Highton, Geelong, preparing for the incredible honour of representing Australia in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics at the Junior International Level in France and Belgium this November.

This opportunity is the reward for years of dedication, discipline, and persistence. Olivia began gymnastics at just four years old and now trains around 25 hours a week across five days, often with double sessions to refine and perfect her skills. Gymnastics is her passion, her purpose, and her joy.

As one of only a few regional athletes currently selected to represent Australia, Olivia trains with the Geelong YMCA International Development Squad, allowing her to remain regionally based and connected to her family while balancing school as a committed Year 8 student.

Representing Australia has been Olivia’s lifelong dream. Wearing the green and gold on the international stage is a huge achievement—and just the beginning.

It marks the first step toward future international opportunities, including her vision of competing at the 2026 Youth Olympics.

However, this dream comes with significant costs. Olivia and her family are responsible for covering all expenses, including flights, accommodation, meals, entry fees, coaching, judging fees, uniforms and travel essentials.

We are aiming to help cover the costs of this amazing opportunity which are $9,000 and make this incredible experience possible.

    The Meaney Family

The Meaney family is the kind of family everyone can count on. Known for their generosity and willingness to lend a hand, they have quietly supported friends, neighbours, and local causes without ever seeking anything in return.

They pride themselves on their independence and prefer to give rather than receive, finding joy in helping others quietly and humbly.

True to their nature, they would never ask for help—but those who know them understand just how deserving they are of our support.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to a family that has given so much of themselves to others.

Your contribution—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference in helping the Meaneys' support Olivia on her international journey.
