Victoria is an elite athlete having represented Australia at the highest level over the past decade.

She hails from the High Country, attending Primary and Secondary School at Mansfield in Victoria. Victoria enjoys supporting kids and travelling to country areas to spread the joy of running and the benefits of a healthy mind & body. Victoria realises the importance of education and leadership to inspire the next generation and is grateful for the opportunities the sport has given her.

She was a prominent athlete whilst studying and teaching at the University of Ballarat and won many State and National titles. Victoria took silver in the World University Games in 2005 and won the prestigious American NCAA 3000m Steeplechase whilst completing her Master’s Degree at Butler University in Education and Leadership.

Victoria returned home after the 18 months athletic scholarship to represent Australia at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and finished 4th.

Following this she competed on the European circuit which included finishing 7th at the World Athletics Final, 4th in the World Cup and competing in the 2007 World Athletic Championships and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. She competed in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 and the World Athletic Championships in 2015. Additionally, Victoria has represented Australia at 3 World Cross Country Championships and was part of the bronze medal teams. She competed successfully in the Rio Olympics, making it her best Olympics to date. Victoria also competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast against all odds after having emergency surgery for a gangrenous appendix only 13 days prior. Victoria didn't compete in 2019 as she was carrying her first child and gave birth to her daughter Skye in October. Victoria is now aiming to make herself a triple Olympian by competing in Tokyo 2020 or rather 2021 due to the COVID epidemic.

Victoria is based in the country town of Benalla and works as a Casual Relief Teacher to support her training. She doesn't receive support funding and needs to finance her own trips to prepare for these championships. Money raised through this platform will assist with a range of living and training costs for Victoria.
