About the project

Shayne Reese Swimming believes learning to swim is a lifesaving skill every child should receive regardless of income or ability and our aim is to help more children receive this vital education and lifelong skill.

55% of Aussie children are not enrolled to learn to swim and many families can not afford to send their kids. 12 children died from drowning in 2021 which could have been prevented.

We have joined the “Swim It Forward” campaign to remove financial barriers and get more disadvantaged Australian children enrolled in swimming lessons at their local swim school.

For every child you help place into a learn to swim program, lowers their risk of drowning, whilst growing their confidence and finding that love for swimming and the water.

With your help we can radically improve the number of children learning to swim and make a big difference in preventing drownings.

You have the power to be a HERO! You can ”Swim It Forward” and donate a lesson to make swimming a child's superpower!

⁃ $20 will provide one lesson to a child.

⁃ $200 will provide a child with lessons for one term.

⁃ $800 will provide a child with lessons for a whole year.

🌟 We believe in this life saving initiative so much, THAT FOR EVERY DOLLAR DONATED, SHAYNE REESE SWIMMING WILL MATCH!!*🌟

Shayne Reese Swimming thanks you in advance for your generosity. Please make your tax-deductible donation today and help a child learn to swim!

*every dollar donated under the ‘Shayne Reese Swimming’ fundraising account.
