In 2024, Rach Viljoen is dedicating 2 days per week to the VIC Regional Coordinator role and 1 day per week to the CSALT Chaplaincy role on Phillip Island, Victoria.

About CS VIC:

CS Vic provides grass roots surfing programs in coastal communities across Vic. Activities are primarily focused on participation and on the wholistic well being of each person involved. Trained leaders and volunteers provide a supportive and safe community for young people (and the young at heart) to enjoy surfing and adventure, whilst being positive role models that encourage healthy life choices and gratitude to the Creator of the waves.

About CSALT CHAPLAINCY:

CSALT stands for “Christian Surfers Australia Leadership Training”. It is a training journey with the purpose of equipping and empowering young adults to live out of a rich and genuine relationship with God and through this transform the world around them through surfing based community programs. Rachel knows all too well the powerful impact a year at CSALT Academy can have in your life and it’s for this cause she is fully committed. This year her role will be to primarily provide students with wholistic support, focusing on their development and well-being. 

Aside from her pastoral care duties, Rach will be across all of the day today comings and goings on site at CSALT Academy. She will be supporting the students with their responsibilities, their studies and assessments, attention to the CSALT schedule and learning first hand how to run local surfing events with Phillip Island Christian Surfers.

Supporting Christian Surfers Vic Regional Coordinator Rach Viljoen Financially:

All tax-deductible donations to the Christian Surfers Vic Regional Coordinator will directly and significantly contribute to the success of Christian Surfers grass roots programs in Vic.

Funding will be used to support Rach as she dedicates time and resources to further develop strategic projects that will better equip and serve the Vic region. These crucial projects will encourage growth in the numbers of programs as well as the effective delivery of training and resourcing to leaders and volunteers.
