Finn Alexander is an 21 year old Laser Standard Sailor from Sydney, Australia and current member of the Australian Sailing Squad. In his final year of Youth Sailing, Finn was dominant in both the national and international circuit, winning all events in NSW, as well as Sail Melbourne and Queensland Youth Week. Finn represented Australia at the 2016 World Sailing Youth World Championships in Auckland, NZ, where he was crowned the Youth World Champion in the highly competitive fleet, winning by an impressive 19 point margin.


After securing the Youth World Victory, Finn quickly shifted his focus to the Men’s International Circuit, and aimed to compete amongst the best around the world. Finn has already made a mark in this fleet. In his debut regatta, The Delta Lloyd Regatta, he placed 8th Overall in the 100 boat fleet. at the World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, he finished 13th. Finn is currently training hard to improve his game in order to beat the world’s best and achieve his dream of winning an Olympic Gold Medal.


In 2020, Finn will be undertaking another huge year of training and competitions around the world, including: Sailing World Cup Regattas in Miami USA, Hyeres FRA, Palma ESP Enoshima JPN and training on Lake Garda, ITL.
