THE GIANTS FOUNDATION LEVERAGES THE POWER OF SPORT TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY, WHILE SUPPORTING THE ON-FIELD SUCCESS OF OUR TEAMS.

In 2015 the GIANTS engaged with local government and key stakeholders to understand the biggest issues facing youth, families, lower socio-economic groups and the broader community in our regions.

Four priority areas were identified and placed at the forefront of all program planning and initiatives.

These priorities of Health, Harmony, Education and Employment, became the four key pillars of the GIANTS’ community and Foundation agenda.

Inspired by our four key community pillars, the GIANTS Foundation programs have been designed to address themes of social cohesion and inclusion, science, environment, literacy, employment, leadership and health.

To date, these programs have made a positive impact in our communities, having reached more than 50,000 people.

We have equipped young people with the skills and social understanding necessary to actively participate in their communities, giving them a sense of purpose, connectedness and community belonging.

We focus on providing opportunities and support to those in lower socio-economic and disadvantaged communities within the GIANTS’ heartland.
