100km Fundraising Run on Saturday the 20th of April 2024

Jake Walton, a coach at the Mazenod Panthers is completing a 100km run to raise funds for the All Abilities Football club. The purpose of this fund raiser is to assist members of Mazenod Panthers, an all abilities football club, who are experiencing financial difficulties, continue to participate in sport and community interaction.

About the Mazenod Panthers:

The Mazenod panthers supports teenagers and adults of all ages with intellectual disabilities to engage with social and physical activities. Mazenod Panthers has been in operation since 2005 and has supported hundreds of families to engage with their community.

Why are we raising money?

Unfortunately, raising children with disabilities is often a costly task, and many of the families who participate struggle to raise the funds to be involved. This social interaction and access to sport is an essential part of these peoples lives, and is vital to their development. The funds raised will be used to support a community fund to assist these families to remain involved with this vital outlet, when they would otherwise have to withdraw.
