As a result of Tobi Rinaldi's recent successes at a State and National level, Tobi has been selected, by Deaf Aquatics Australia, to represent his country, as part of the Deaf Swimming Australia Team at the 6th World Deaf Swimming Championships in Buenos Aires.

This is the first time Tobi has been selected to represent his country at an international level.

Tobi has achieved recent success at State (QLD) level, where he is the current holder of many of the QLD Age and Open Men's S15 and SB15 Freestyle, backstroke, and Breaststroke swimming records.

At age 13, Tobi Debuted at the Australian National Age and Multiclass Championships in 2022, swimming multiple strokes and events, which saw him walking away with Silver in the 100m Freestyle and Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke.

Tobi attended the 2023 Australian National Age and Multiclass Championships in April this Year, where he had an absolutely outstanding performance, swimming 7heats, 7 finals and brought home 6 Bronze medals!

Following on from these swimming highlights he has now been selected to Travel to Buenos Aires in August as part of the Deaf Swimming Australia Team to compete at the 6th World Deaf Swimming Championships in Buenos Aires.

Deaf Swimming Australia is a small organization supporting swimmers who are Hearing Impaired/Deaf. As such here is no government financial funding assistance to help with the cost of flights, accommodation and support staff such as coaches/Interpreters.

We are raising funds for Tobi to assist with costs associated with the Australian team travel, including Flights, accommodation and Support staff.
