Meet “Pocket Rocket” Lucas Lai…. 

A young rising star and promising athlete from Melbourne with explosive spinning kicks & a boy who just Loves, Lives & Breathes TAEKWONDO ! 

Lucas is a Marby ‘Maribyrnong Sports Academy’ student and trains at Notorious Martial Arts. 

Both on and off the mats, Lucas is known as a young boy who is so much wiser than his years, caring, kind and compassionate. 

Lucas’ dedication, passion, determination & commitment to Taekwondo has secured him a place on the National Team to represent Australia at the prestigious 2023 World Cadet Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina in August and also at the Bosnian Open in September.

Lucas’ journey to the world stage involves significant costs. So we are launching “Kick Start Lucas’ journey to flying the Australian Flag!”

We need your help to raise $10,000 to cover a round trip fare from Melbourne to Bosnia, transfers/transportation/accommodation during the championships, meals, competition approved uniform and training equipment, travel insurance and also a contingency for unexpected expenses.
