Water Polo ACT Development Fund

Water Polo ACT (WPACT) is the governing body responsible for administering Water Polo throughout the Australian Capital Territory. As a State Sport Organisation (SSO) it is an affiliated association of Water Polo Australia, and together we work to grow the sport in Canberra and the surrounding regions.

A clear governance structure via our board and constitution provides oversight to ensure funds raised are used in the most effective way to benefit all members and the long-term growth of Water Polo in the ACT.

WPACT has over 750 members and is growing rapidly. Our membership base has grown 45% in the past two years and 135% in the past five. We organise a number of programs for juniors and seniors in both Summer and Winter, including; Social, State and Premier League Competitions, School Carnivals as well facilitating the Canberra Dolphins representative program.

To support our current members and allow us to maintain our current growth, we are seeking support for our Development Fund. Tax deductible donations to this fund will help the club in the following ways;

· Junior representative programs

· Senior representative programs

· Coach training and development pathways

· Referee training and development pathways

· Coach support to attend tournaments

· Performance health coaching, programs, and equipment

· Equipment costs
