My name is Ada Nebauer and I am 21 years old. I have been racing outrigger canoes since I was 12 and have been racing internationally since I was 14. I have competed in 5 World Championships, and 2 Pacific Games events. The Palau Pacific Games June 29-July 9, 2025, is my 3rd event of this type, and I will be racing the V1 (individual canoe) 500m sprint and the V1 16km marathon. I grew up on Norfolk Island and proudly represent my community and my home. I currently live on the Sunshine Coast, where I am at university, and racing with Mooloolaba Open Women. Competing at this level is costly, and I would appreciate any assistance towards my travel costs to this event.
