Born in Wangaratta and raised in Geelong, Alex is an extraordinary young athlete with a deep passion for futsal (indoor soccer) and soccer (football). Despite having a medical condition that limits the sports he can participate in, Alex never lets this defeat him and refuses to let anything hold him back. Instead, he embraces every challenge he faces with determination and gives his all to everything he does.

Alex’s hard work and positive attitude have recently earned him an incredible, life-changing opportunity: He has been selected by Spanish futsal legend Adrian 'Pola' Alonso to join the elite 2025 United Futsal FUTURES program in Spain.

Joining the FUTURES program, Alex will have opportunity to travel to Spain, and train alongside with other talented young players from the United Sates, Brazil, and Spain, under the guidance of world-class coaches.

This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Alex. Out of all the kids who attended the trials, Alex is one of only 10 players in the region - across all age groups - to receive this exclusive invitation.
