I have been fortunate enough to be selected onto the U21 Australian rowing team, to compete at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand from the 27th to the 29th of July. Here I will be racing in both the quad and the eight against New Zealand and Canada.

This regatta is an important stepping stone on my rowing journey, and will be the first of hopefully many international regattas that I can attend. As well as racing in New Zealand, I will also be competing training camps across the country in preparation, giving me the opportunity to learn from and experience other states' and clubs' rowing approaches.

This regatta is self-funded, meaning that I have to pay a $3000 seat-fee to cover the Trans-Tasman regatta itself, as well as flights, accomodation, food and equipment at the different preceding training camps. As such, any donations would go towards helping me compete, and I am enormously grateful for every dollar! Donations are also tax-deductible as well.
