Aneira's journey into the world of figure skating began at the age of 6 when she started group lessons with Aussie Skate. While having high anxiety, ice skating has helped to bring Aneira a sense of focus, direction & calm. In 2020, Aneira began Synchronised Figure Skating where her love of ice skating grew.​ When Covid-19 began, Aneira had to put her ice skating on hold for 4 months.

When she was finally able to start again, she became more dedicated & began attending private lessons 2 times per week to improve her skills, as well as training for Synchro early on a Saturday morning from 5.30am (training for 3hrs), earning her the most improved skater of year trophy in her team in 2021.

Through the highs & lows, lockdowns, cancellations of events & uncertainty over the last 2 years due to Covid-19, Aneira has the opportunity to attend the Australian Figure Skating Championships 2022 in Brisbane representing Western Australia in the Synchronised Figure Skating division. Aneira is really looking forward to having the opportunity to attend the competition and represent her State. To be able to achieve this, there will be extra training, coaches fees, competition fees/levy, flights & accommodation at a cost of approx. $1000. Can you help?
