I did lots of different sports when I was young, swimming, footy, cricket, pedal prix, athletics, karate and basketball. I dreamt of being a professional rider from a very young age, watching the Tour Down Under and Tour de France on TV. My Pedal Prix coach Neil Dent suggested I do the SASI talent ID testing and I was very excited to be given a chance to learn track cycling. I moved through the development squad and I am now a SASI Scholarship holder, classified as Developing in the AusCycling Podium pathway program. As an endurance track cyclist, I also do road racing. I have represented SA many times since under 15 and represented Australian as an U19 at the Oceania championship held in New Zealand in December 2019. Cycling is a very expensive sport, including equipment and travel to compete to gain racing experience at the highest level possible. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help me achieve my goal to represent my country at the Olympics.
So please show your support today by making a tax-deductible donation of $2 or more, through this fundraising campaign with the Australian Sports Foundation.
