I have loved racing bikes since I was 12 years old. Despite many setbacks due to injury and illness I have now reached a standard that I am confident to try racing in Europe. I have been offered the opportunity to race with a Polish continental team. They race at a higher standard than currently available in Australia but are an amateur team. They provide travel and support for racing but individuals must fund themselves to travel to Europe and living expenses while in Europe. Despite having worked since I was 15, my savings are not high as cycling is a very expensive sport.
