I have been playing Tennis now for 4.5 years and would love to go to the next level. I am now at a National Level. This year I reached my goal by earning a spot into the Qld Team (from 13-19) I am very proud to have the honour to represent Queensland in Tennis Championships this May 2019 in Adelaide.

I started playing tennis at 10 years of age and really enjoyed it. At first I was not very good and played once a week. I soon found out for me to improve I had to train more and do more match play. I did however increase to 3 times a week and started winning tournaments and really enjoyed it.. I still have not ever been able to train as the others as it is very costly, so I guess I don't have the same opportunities as some but I still keep up there.

So what I’ve achieved so far is by hard work, passion and my mum. I know I will get to the next level if I can train more and also be able to not miss some great opportunities. I am at the level now where I should be playing overseas doing more AMT'S and ITF tournaments and training a lot more than I do.

The nature of my sport demands, training at least 5 days a week, private lessons, attending tournaments all over Australia and now overseas which comes at a considerable cost. I am also committed to my schooling and grateful for all the support I get from my school, coaches and family. When I finish school my goal is to go to the USA and study and play in a University with a scholarship.

Recently I was playing in a IMG Discovery Tournament. I was one of the the players that was given a voucher to attend Florida and Train at the IMG academy for one week and then play in the Junior Master Tournament for one week. This is a dream to me and I know this will help me get to the next level.. This Tournament is one of the biggest for Juniors in the World. I would love to go as the experience and training at the IMG would just be amazing. The voucher helps but I still need a lot more for Travel and accommodation & food.

Recently , in April 2019, I won my first AMT (silver) Tournament which has totally motivated me to train and work even harder to reach my goals.
