First of all, thank you so much for coming to read my page. I'm excited to raise awareness for both of my sports and to share my journey with you.
I'm a 31 year old Australian ice & inline hockey player. I have played inline hockey since I was 4 years old, and ice hockey since I was 23 and started my representative journey at the ripe young age of 11. I am so fortunate that hockey has taken me all around the world as a player and a coach.
Unfortunately though, hockey is a very niche sport in Australia, and even though we have to train and perform like professional athletes, all participation at a national and international level is fully self-funded.
The past 12 months have been my busiest yet where I aimed to comeback from an injury that I didn't want to beat me or stop my development. Here is a bit of an overview of the last 12 months and final upcoming tournament of the campaign.
March 2024 - AWIHL Champions with the Melbourne Ice Women's Team (MIW) - It was during this grand final weekend where I tore my MCL and was forced to take a break
April 2024 - Selected to play for the Australian National Women's Ice Hockey Team but was unable to travel due to the injury.
March-July 2024 - Intense rehabilitation program
July 2024 - Returned from injury as Captain of the Victorian Team at the Women's Ice Hockey National Tournament in Newcastle, NSW
September 2024 - Alternate Captain of the Australian Women's Inline Hockey Team at the World Skate Games in Roccaraso, Italy
October 2024 - Won Gold with the Australian National Women's Team at the Trans-Tasman Tournament in Newcastle, NSW
November 2024 - March 2025 - AWIHL back to back champion the MIW
April 2025 - IIHF World Women's Division 2b tournament with the Australian National Women's Team in Dunedin, NZ.
As you can imagine, fully funding this last 12 months has been tough but it has been an incredibly fulfilling and successful campaign so far. I am so grateful to have received some sponsorship through my work place and the rink where it all began for me - Rollerway Skate Centre. But even with the sponsorship, and the money I will raise with this project combined, it will still be shy of half of the competition costs.
So I am looking for any small, medium or large businesses (happy to co-promote through my social media platforms of over 2,000 followers) or any individuals just looking support a female athlete, chasing her dream, to help me get over the line for this final leg of competition where I will travel with the Australian Women's Ice Hockey team to the World Games for our division for a chance at gold and promotion to the next division.

Thank you again for your time!
