My diagnosis is not what defines me, what defines me is my level of resilience and ability to rise to the occasion in my chosen sport and my journey.
My life has been a constant challenge and people have always told me that I can't do.... Making the U20 Australian Outbacks team for grid iron proves that I can!
My dream is to play in the NFL and to show the world who Astin Hewett is, I have been through more challenges in my 17 year old life than most people go through in a lifetime and I want my story to be told and to show to my peers that every challenge is an opportunity to shine.
The World Championships are in June and I need Support/Funds to cover costs of travel, accommodation and general living expenses whilst I am competing.
To make the Australian Outbacks U20 team as a 17 year old is something I am very proud of and I plan on showing the world and proving to myself that I belong!
