This July, the "Auroras", Australia's Senior A Dragon Boat Team, will make their return to the international stage at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Brandenburg, Germany. It has been 20 years since this Championship was last held in Germany and also falls on the 30th Anniversary for our National Team.

Our reigning Senior A World Champions are eager to defend their title and inspire a new generation of paddlers.

The Aurora athletes are, like many unsponsored elite sports, fully self-funded, and our teams are run by dedicated volunteer coaches and managers. We need your support to offset the financial costs of representing Australia on the international stage. All funds raised through donations or corporate sponsorships will assist us cover the cost of uniforms, training camps, paddles, insurance, accommodation and entry and registration fees.

The Auroras Senior A team are a group of 40 passionate women and men who strive for excellence. We are proud to compete in the fastest growing water sport in the world, known for its accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
