The FIPFA Powerchair Football World Cup is the pinnacle of the sport of powerchair football. Representing your nation is the dream of athletes around the world and the Australian Poweroos need your help to reach this goal.

Powerchair football is an adapted form of football (soccer) for powerchair users. Athletes compete in specially designed powerchairs with metal footguards, dribbling, passing and shooting with an oversized football. The game is fast, exciting and highly tactical. The Australian Poweroos placed 6th in the 2023 edition held in Sydney and will be looking to reach the semi finals once more in 2026 when the tournament heads to Argentina!

Our athletes require the assistance of family members and support workers, meaning the costs of attending training camps and tournaments are double those of other athletes. The athletes themselves have to fund the majority of these expenses, so your assistance will help to subsidise these costs. Every contribution will help power the Poweroos on their journey towards Argentina 2026!
