Whilst 2020 was an historic year for BBC Rugby - winning the Premiership outright for the first time in GPS history - 2022 will also be a year to remember and to celebrate.

Remember the pride, the passion, the triumphs, the heartaches, the sweat and the tears of all the seasons that have played out since 1918.

We wish to celebrate the rich history that BBC boys have woven into the fabric of the BBC sporting community – the players, the parents, the Old Boys and the GPS community.

This year, the Rugby Support Group has donated to the College 6 Green/White/Black mobile stands seating up to 140 spectators for the benefit of all co-curricular activities, so the boys can support their brothers as they strive for success or pull on their GWB colours and have a go…

In addition, to celebrate the Centenary of the OCA, a custom-built stand spanning 18 metres across Old Boys’ Hill at Miskin Oval with a capacity of 144 spectators has also been donated to the school by the RSG. The “Graham Thompson AM Stand” will nestle into the hill below the newly revamped Headmaster’s Pavilion – which sits proudly on top of Old Boys’ Hill.

The RSG would like to acknowledge the incredible spirit and immense generosity of the BBC Rugby Community over the years. The parents and Old Boys, who have supported the BBC Rugby program by generously donating their time, money and support to fundraising events – enabling the RSG to raise and preserve these funds over the last decade. The fund raising the RSG does supports the Rugby Program first and foremost – however there has always been a bigger vision - to invest in the future for the benefit of all. 

The RSG would like to offer the school community the opportunity to continue to remember and celebrate by:

• Naming a seat in the "Graham Thompson AM Stand" on Old Boys Hill - $500 per seat
• Naming one of our six GWB mobile stands (seating 36-40) - $5,000 per stand.

Either option will be acknowledged with a permanent name plaque which will commemorate your involvement in the school community.

Our fundraising partnership with the BBC Foundation allows us to process your donation through the Australian Sports Foundation, making donations tax deductible.

There are a limited number of seats and stands available for naming recognition, and they will be allocated to donors on a first-come first-serve basis, so please donate today to show your support and secure your place in the history of BBC!
