For 10 years basketball has been Bella’s passion with a dream of securing a U.S. college scholarship.

The last 10 years have been marked with significant sacrifices not just by Bella but the entire family. Bella left behind her primary school friends to begin high school as a part of a specialist sports program and she then moved schools again in 2022, moving to Perth from regional WA to take up a basketball scholarship.

Bella’s commitment to basketball is exceptional, involving for many years completing a 400km round trip to Perth from regional WA three times a week for training and games in addition to other local basketball trainings and staying on top of her studies.

Bella has been selected to represent WA at the Australian National Championships twice in the past 3 years, and in the past 5 years has also represented WA at the Southern Cross Challenge and Australian Baptist Basketball Carnival. Bella is also a Basketball WA State Championship All Star and ACC All Star having represented her school, Bunbury Bears and Warwick Senators at multiple Regional, State Championship and Country Championship tournaments as well as the recipient of various MVP, R/up MVP and coaches awards throughout the years.

Attending the AUSA Hoops 2024 U.S. tour would enable Bella to showcase her talent and skills in front of college coaches enhancing her chances of securing a much sought after college scholarship.
