Meet Ben Holliday, a talented 16-year-old from South Australia, fuelled by dreams of a future career in motorsport. The 2024 Australian Kart Championship has concluded. With a round win and a podium finish, he led the championship for the first three rounds. Achieving fourth place overall was an outstanding result for his debut year in the Seniors TAG125 Category. Now, it is time to regroup and prepare for the 2025 Australian Kart Championship, which kicks off in February next year.
But that’s not all—Ben is also excited to be part of the Aussie Athlete Fund’s $1 Million Challenge, powered by Ampol. The aim of the challenge is to pair 100 athletes with businesses who will assist the athlete in their fundraising goals. The challenge has been set by five-time Olympian Nat Cook, with the goal of raising the most funds by the 31st of October. The funds raised by Ben will contribute to the cost of him competing across Australia.
Contributions to Ben will support coaching, entry fees, equipment (including engine rebuilds and tyres), and travel expenses. This year’s Australian Kart Championship rounds took place in Bolivar (SA), Puckapunyal (VIC), Emerald (QLD), Coffs Harbour (NSW), and Oakleigh (VIC).
Ben’s passion for racing began at the age of 6 when he first hopped into a go-kart. Since then, he’s been a regular contender in the Australian Kart Championship, an event spanning 5 rounds across the country. With 2 round victories and 6 podium finishes under his belt, Ben’s determination shines through.
Join us in supporting Ben’s journey—every contribution counts! Together, we can help him chase his dreams and achieve victory on the track.
