Meet Ben Holliday, a talented 16-year-old from South Australia, fuelled by dreams of a career in motorsport. Ben is set to compete in the 2025 TGRA Scholarship Series, with the first of five rounds kicking off at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit at the beginning of March.

The TGRA Scholarship Series provides an opportunity for young aspiring professional drivers to hone their circuit racing skills in a safe and exciting environment, behind the wheel of a Toyota 86 race car.

Transitioning from karting to car racing, Ben faces significant expenses such as entry fees, team costs, car preparation, travel, equipment and other related racing costs. The 2025 TGRA Scholarship rounds will take place at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit (VIC), Sydney Motorsport Park (NSW), Queensland Raceway (QLD), Morgan Park Raceway (QLD), and The Bend (SA).

In the 2024 Australian Kart Championship, Ben concluded with a round win and a podium finish. Leading the championship for the first three rounds, he achieved an outstanding fourth place overall in his debut year in the Seniors TAG125 Category.

But that’s not all—Ben is also excited to be selected for the Aussie Athlete Fund’s Elevate20 Program. The Aussie Athlete Fund was founded by five-time Olympian Nat Cook, with the goal of directly supporting aspiring elite young athletes.

Ben’s passion for racing began at the age of 6 when he first hopped into a go-kart. Since then, he’s been a regular contender in the Australian Kart Championship, an event spanning 5 rounds across the country. With 2 round victories and 6 podium finishes under his belt, Ben’s determination shines through.
