Hi my name is Benji and I’ve just been selected in the Team Vic Cross Country State Team, after finishing second at school state cross country in my age group. I now get to travel to Adelaide to compete in the School Sport Australia Championships from 26th August to 29th August.

I am passionate about running! I love to run middle and long distances. I love training, (especially with my running peers) , being a member of the Echuca Moama Little Athletics club and competing. I am in grade 5 at Echuca Primary School.

While I’m so excited and proud to be representing Victoria and competing against the best school aged athletes in Australia, it’s going to cost my parents and I a considerable amount to attend. I am trying to raise fund to cover the cost of my team Victoria uniform and the competition fees.
