The Beyond Bol Foundation (BBF) is a Not-For-Profit organisation established by three-time Olympian Peter Bol with the key objective to provide resources and opportunities to empower young Africans and underrepresented communities through sports.
The Beyond Bol Foundation will deliver the following programs in 2025:
Beyond Bol Leadership and Performance Academy (ages 13-18)
To empower young African Australians to excel in sports, develop strong leadership skills, and build resilient individuals both on and off the field of sport. Core components if this program focuses on athletic development, leadership development, cultural identity and life skills.
Elite Sports Development and Transition Plan
This program focuses on senior athletes aged 18 - 26 providing access to high performance sport training and transitioning into professional sports or other careers assisting athletes to navigate life beyond sports.
Beyond Bol Run Club
A community-driven initiative for youths and young adults, offering weekly run sessions, this program promotes fitness and well-being while encouraging active lifestyles, strengthening community bonds, and creating a shared culture of health and fitness.
Beyond Bol Sports Leadership and Development Camp
We're all about giving our junior and senior athletes exceptional, hands-on experience to really hone their athletic skills and grow as leaders. It's not just about sports; it's about personal growth too. We want to build a strong sense of community and mentorship, while celebrating the rich cultural pride within our African Australian youth sports community. It's about lifting each other up and pushing forward together
The BBF is committed to developing well-rounded individuals by supporting their growth both on and off the field of sport. Through this holistic approach, we empower participants to become leaders and role models who inspire their communities.
The BBF has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation to enable all payments to the Foundation to be fully tax deductible.
