Blake Collyer Golf

Blake Collyer Golf

Blake discovered his passion for golf at 10 years old, and realised his aspirations to take it to a professional level at 16. Over the years as his game progressively improved, he started to win Junior golf events resulting in him making two Junior State teams and two Victorian School teams, captaining two of those teams and making the All-Australian team in his last year.

Selection in the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) gave Blake the exposure to the best coaching in the world allowing him to further develop his game and experience competitions across Australia and the world. As an amateur Blake had some outstanding results, 5th in the British Amateur Championship Strokeplay, second in the Riversdale Cup, twice winning the Dunes medal and winning the W.E. Cole Cotton States Invitation in the USA. After turning professional in October 2019, Blake qualified into his first event (The Victorian PGA) with a -10 par 61, followed by another -10 61 in the second round helping him finish in 4th place.

Blake has had some notable finishes in events in Australia and NZ , such as 4th place in the 2021 New Zealand PGA, 4th in the 2022 TPS Victoria, 5th in the 2022 NSW Open, and tied 4th with Cam Smith at the 2023 Cathedral Invitational.

Blake’s goal is to be one of the best players in the world and embrace this amazing opportunity to build a career. Golf has given Blake the opportunity to meet many people from different occupations and walks of life, which has helped him learn and develop as a person, shaping who he is today. With a passion for health, the environment and the community Blake hopes he can leverage his golf to make an impact in giving back in many ways. After receiving enquires from his supporters on how best to help him, Blake has set up this page. Your generous support through tax deductible donations will go to assist in travel, accommodation, entry fees and ongoing expenses for Blake.
