Brie has been selected to represent Cricket Australia Invitation U22 indoor cricket team at the National Championships in Melbourne from 17 June to 25 June 2023. Help her to raise the funds to offset the cost of expenses associated with the trip as being part of the team is fully self funded.
Brie started playing cricket in the Milo cricket program aged 7 and went onto play in the school team as the only girl up until year 9 in which she became a team member of her new school's girls knockout team. She played boys club cricket up to U12's and progressed to B Grade District Women's cricket. She participated in the State U15 Outdoor Winter Program before being selected to play indoor cricket for the state in 2017 in the U17 team and Open team in 2019. 2020 and 2021 Brie was selected for the state U22 team, but COVIID cancelled the championships both years. In 2022 Brie played in the invitational Cricket Australia U22 team. This is her seventh year of playing indoor cricket and having the privilege to represent the state under the Cricket Australia banner.
Besides cricket, Brie plays Australian Rules Football at club level and has participated in SANFL and state programs for the three years. She first started playing in the Aus Kick program. Her other sporting passions are snowboarding, she was skiing at 18 months and quad bike riding.
Whilst some sports at the state level are fully funded by the state body, indoor cricket participates need to raise the funds themselves to cover the costs of airfares, accommodation, hire vehicles, meals, and uniforms.
This is where your donation, no matter how big or small will greatly help to offset the cost of expenses associated with Brie playing at the National Championships. All donations are tax deductible. Please show your support by making a donation today.
