Cameron has a dream, like so many others, to make it all the way to MotoGP. It is a massive dream with so many hurdles to overcome along the way.

Cam is a 13 year old Motorcycle Road racer who lives and breathes for racing.

Cam has so much potential which he has shown so far. Notably he has achieved the following in his career to date:

  • Started racing in 2018 and finished 3rd as the youngest and most inexperienced competitor in Motostars that year.
  • Finished 2nd in the NSW short course championship in 2018 as the youngest competitor
  • Won the North Coast Road Racing Championship in 2018 as the youngest competitor
  • Set the track record for Rookies at Grafton in 2018
  • Finished 2nd in Motostars in 2019
  • Won the NSW Short Course Championship in 2019
  • Set a faster track record for Rookies at Grafton in 2019
  • Came 2nd in the Australian junior road racing championship at his first race weekend old enough to compete in that category in all 3 races at Proserpine in 2019
  • Set a new track record at Phillip Island for the R15 class at testing for Oceania Junior Cup
  • Set a new faster track record for Rookies at Grafton in 2020
  • Set a new track record for Rookies at Lismore, being the only Rookie to ever go under 35 seconds, timing at 33.9 seconds.
  • Set a new track record for Juniors at Lismore, being only the 2nd junior to ever go under 35 seconds, timing at 33.699, beating the time set by Billy Van Eerde back in 2015.
  • Oceania Junior Cup Champion 2021, winning 6 Oceania Junior Cup races from 9 raced in 2021, coming 2nd in 2 races and 3rd in 1 race. This is the best result achieved by any competitor ever in this class, with the most wins ever and the only competitor to ever podium in every race.
  • Set a new track record at Winton in the Oceania Junior Cup in 2021, and set a full race time 7 seconds faster than the previous best.
  • Topped official ASBK testing for the Supersport 300 class at Phillip Island in Feb 2022 in his first outing in that class and as the youngest in the field.

Unfortunately Cam was not able to compete as expected throughout 2020 due to Covid, however, OJC completed 3 rounds and as the youngest competitor in a field of 11 -15 year olds he finished 4th overall, taking 2 x 3rd places at the Wakefield rounds, being the highest placed 2008 born competitor, and the highest placed interstate competitor.

In 2022 Cam is proudly flying the Aussie flag and competing in the Asia Talent Cup. This is a highly competitive class, forming part of the Road to MotoGP Program. Races take place in Qatar, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and again in Indonesia. Cam is also racing in the Supersport 300 class and R3 Cup in Australia.

While Cam is at the top of his class in Australia, the competitors from overseas have been practicing and racing Moto3 Machines for a few years, whilst Cam has only just in the last month been able to get on this type of bike. Therefore to allow him to get to the top in this International competition, he needs to be able to do as much practice as possible between race events.

While Cam has plenty of talent and huge amounts of commitment, the costs for us as a family to do this alone and fully reach his potential are prohibitive, so we need to raise as much as possible to make this dream a reality.

We have estimated that this year, the costs to race and practice will be approximately $100k (Plus cost of any crash damage)

  1. $30,000 ASBK costs including all entries, travel, tyres etc
  2. $25,000 flights and overseas costs to attend Asia Talent Cup
  3. $25,000 costs of training already incurred prior to departure to Qatar, including multiple track days, tyres, acquisition of training bike
  4. $20,000 training days, including entry, tyres, club racing for training etc
  5. Costs for any crash damage

Any support which Cam can get with this, is gratefully received. Every single dollar we can raise will help make this dream a reality, and every single dollar will go into getting Cameron training for his races and realising his full potential. Through Cam's fundraising partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. So please show your support by donating.

Cameron’s dream is huge, but you can never achieve a dream if you don’t at least put in all your effort to achieve it. It’s better to try your best, than live a life wondering ‘what if I have just given it a go?’

Thanks you for reading and thank you for your support.
