I am honoured to have been chosen to represent Australia at the 2023 Canoe Marathon World Championships in Denmark in August. I achieved this selection after winning the National marathon championships in April. I am so proud to be wearing the green and gold!

I have been training incredibly hard to do myself, my family, my coaches and my country proud and to repay the people who have supported me in my sporting journey.

The trip will be a wonderful experience, where I will not only compete in the World Championships against the best international paddlers but also train with a Danish kayak squad leading up to the championships. I am also looking forward to entering the Athletes village and joining paddlers from all over the world. It will be an amazing experience for a 16 year old!

This trip is to be paid for by myself and my family. Costs include : international flights, accommodation, transfers, training, boat hire, competition fee, uniform, insurance and meals.
