23rd to 25th June this year, Cindy is embarking on another World Championship campaign with the WKSF in Hungry 

Most of you know my story from the first time I was selected to represent Australia in my 20s in Karate; fast forward 28 years to my 50s, and I am still fortunate to represent Australia.

Representing your country in any sport is an honour I don't take for granted. I work hard to achieve my goals to set a high standard to stand on the world stage to be the best, not only for myself but for those that support me and to inspire others to be better and be brave to chase their dreams of being the best in the world.

I have been fortunate enough to represent Australia on multiple occasions over 28 years with some great success. Some would know the story from last year of 8 Gold medals and 2 world records.

This year has become hard to get myself to the World Championships financially. Previously I have just sold my house or belongings to get there, but now it's a little more challenging being a small business owner and studying full time. It is an opportunity I don't want to let slide, as life is about opportunities and experiences and being a role model for others my age. 

Those that know me know I fundraise for charity and not myself. With a push from my support network, I have found an opportunity for my support network to make a tax-deductible donation to help get me to the World Championships.

I have successfully qualified in multiple events stepping aside from the Amateur division and heading into the professional/elite and masters divisions.
