Clara began playing netball at the age of 7. She is in her fifth year at Langwarrin Netball Club & her third year representing Frankston & District Netball Association Squad. She trains 2-3 times a week, is an assistant coach for an 11&U team & recently began umpiring on Saturday's.

Clara is only the second student at Woodlands Primary School to ever be selected into a School Sports Victoria State Team. The SSV Netball trials involved 4 days of trials at Division, Conference & State levels, from which she was selected in the final team of 12 players. This will now include extra training sessions at the State Netball & Hockey Centre to prepare for the Championships. She has embraced this selection in her usual quiet & humble manner, but with 100% determination & commitment.

I have had the absolute pleasure of watching Clara's skills, confidence, motivation & love of the game grow over the years & couldn't be prouder.

However, with the honor of selection comes the extra financial expectations. The estimated cost for team members is $1000-$1500 just for uniform, fees & insurance. This does not include the cost of travel or accommodation for the week of competition in Wollongong NSW.
