My name is Claudia Marcks - I’m a Canberra based elite Track/Road

cyclist gearing up for an exciting race season in 2025. I had a successful

campaign in 2024, including an Australian National Champion title, and

multiple American pro race wins. I’m eager to continue my development

through various Aussie state and national level races, alongside international

competitions in Asia, Europe, and America next year. These events are

crucial to progressing my professional cycling career and increase my

chances of Olympic selection come 2028!

I’m currently gathering individual sponsors who want to support my journey,

with the goal of being in a comfortable position to take on any

race/development opportunities I can come by. With limited athlete support

in the Australian cycling scene, I aim to use this opportunity to take

performance development into my own hands and shed light on the

businesses that advocate for the driven individuals, females and athletes in

Australia.

I am required to cover various ongoing costs throughout the year, including:

travel & accommodation both domestic and international, race entries, race

insurance, training camps, sports equipment & maintenance, etc. With the

level of competition I am chasing, this means over $30,000 in unsupported

sport related expenses every year.

Through this mission, I look to further connect with the Canberra locals and

nation-wide communities. I will be representing my own road cycling kit for

the season, proudly presenting the key supporters to this adventure. I

continue to capture my progress and amazing experiences I have on my

social media, sharing this story with a wide range of audiences. I am eager to

partner with businesses that support the momentum of hard work,

dedication, and excellence both professionally and in the sporting

environment.
