Visit websiteThe cricket pitch square on Neil Bulger Oval now over 30 years old and is long overdue for a major overhaul.
The cricket square has served the club well over the years and due to its location, in that it is not affected by winter sport, hence its longevity. We have regularly been called upon to provide a turf pitch for pre-season matches for many years due to the above.
However it is now looking very tired, especially in the 'batting boxed'. The attached pictures show the wear and tear the pitch has had this season.
Along with the refurbishment, the club is also looking to install additional pitches using hybrid technology Hybrid Cricket Pitches.
The additional pitches will be used mainly for training, but also can be used for match play.
