Participating in state level competitions allows Daniel to improve his personal performance and gain experience in a higher level of competition than what is available locally in his remote home of Cloncurry.

Mid west touch trial in Juia Creek
North west Touch trial in Barcaldine
He has already travelled 1544 km so far to gain selection in the North West Team and progress to participate in the State Trials in Cairns.
