The Darwin Dressage Club (DDC) is embarking on its journey to introduce live scoring technology as its standard competition practice, as considered best practice by the majority of Dressage Clubs throughout Australia and worldwide.

DDC has chosen to go with a system called LiveScore which is powered by a company called Nominate.

The LiveScore dressage system completely removes the need for paper as part of the dressage scoring process.

It engages spectators by showing trending percentages on a movement by movement basis, pushed out to spectators phones. It is fast - riders get a digital copy of their test as soon as the judge signs it.

The key benefits for DDC are:

• Replaces the need for paper tests
• Reduces the number of volunteers to help run events, and allows volunteers to focus on more important tasks
• Engages a wider spectator audience
• Enhances the competitors experience in the sport

Our aim to raise enough money to lessen the financial burden placed on DDC to purchase the necessary equipment to deliver live scoring and its ongoing costs such as internet access.
