Did you know basketballs have an expiry date/end of life date? Many of our committee didn't either! While we can still use expired basketballs for training purposes, they can no longer be used as match/game basketballs. We therefore will be needing to completely replenish our basketballs for all of our teams for the 2024 season for game day usage. At approximately $130 per basketball, and with 2 basketballs required per team, with 50 teams, this is close to an $6,500 cost to our club. Our fundraising supports new uniforms, equipment such as portable basketball rings, training equipment, training singlets etc. It is never easy raising money for those items alone, but with the additional cost of a large number of basketballs, we need your help please.
