Ellsie has been selected on the Australian squad to compete in the World Martial Arts Championships in Yokohama, Japan in November 2023. This is a huge opportunity for her to compete on the world stage at such a young age. Ellsie competed at the Australian Martial Arts Championships in 2022 and earnt the title of 8-10 year old Australian Champion. Ellsie trains locally at Guys Karate School Rutherford, and she is also part of their Junior leader program, volunteering her time to assist in teaching the younger student classes. Your support is gratefully appreciated in helping with costs for uniforms, registration fees, squad training, and sparring equipment, and travelling to Japan.
