Ethan has once again been selected in the Phantom's Under 15 boys's zone representative team for South Australia at the Lacrosse Australia Under 15's Boys and Girls National tournament, in Ballarat from September 27th - October 3rd. At a cost of over $3000 per player for uniform, travel, accommodation, food and drink, it is a stretch for anyone, especially with the rising costs of living. With having already replaced his stick, at a cost of almost $600, as well as the usual shoes, mouth guard etc. it has all added up.
With Ethan being a fourth generation player, to say we're proud is an understatement. Having been selected for the second time is an achievement. Lacrosse is a minority sport that gets virtually no funding, even at the highest of levels, and that is where he has his sights set. Please help us to get him to this event, so that we can move our sights to the next, when ever that arrives.
