Introducing myself-

My name is Fiona Sing and I am Wheelchair Athlete who is on the Australian Para Badminton Team. I am a proud Aboriginal Gomeroi/Kamilaroi Woman. I live in rural Tamworth and work as a Disability Support Worker and a disability diversity advocate.

·     2019 I was Oceania’s Quad W1 Female Champion.

·     In 2022, I competed in the Badminton World Federation at the Para Badminton World Championships in Tokyo, at Fazza Dubai Para Badminton International and at the Oceania Championships in Melbourne where I earned both silver and bronze medals.

·     Late 2022 Tamworth Regional Sports Award- Local Achiever Award and Tamworth Regional Sporting Hall of Fame.

That’s why I need you!

Currently, I do not receive any financial support in representing Australia. I am actively trying to fund-raise and collect sponsorship to help me reach my goal of representing Australia and Tamworth at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. But my efforts won’t reach their maximum effectiveness unless I have the backing of the entire community. I need extensive support as I have to go to 10 International Para Badminton Championships/tournaments to gain points to compete at the Paris Paralympics in 2024. So huge costs in flights, accommodation and competition fees.
