From a commitment at last year’s AGM (2023) to coordinate the history of our great Club, and to have it written and produced in book form, I can report that progress is being made and momentum is building well.

We are just about ready to lock away the period from 1817 to the start of World War 11, in1939. The most difficult years go from there to 1961 and then after that, records and memories are well kept.

Mark Oberhardt has agreed to author the history, and his club involvement and expertise inwriting fits our needs perfectly.

Thanks for contributions so far from Club Members, in particular David Park, Robin Thomson and Rob Melloy for their knowledge, records, keenness and advice. Many more members and Old Boys will be interviewed in the next 6 months to gather stories, memorabilia, contacts and key milestones.
